Job summary

EnviroCareers is seeking a versatile Reclamation Specialist to support mine reclamation, closure, permitting, and environmental assessment projects in Canada. This hands-on role spans technical delivery, field programs, data and GIS, reporting, and project coordination.

The successful candidate will bring a background in vegetation, soils, wildlife, wetlands, ecology, or related reclamation fields, with direct mining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in environmental reclamation, mine closure, or related regulated work.
• Master’s degree is an asset but not required.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects, scope/schedule/budget tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support reclamation and closure planning across the mine life cycle.
• Contribute to plans, environmental assessments, end-land-use planning, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist with liability estimates, scoping, proposals, schedules and budgets.
• Provide input in vegetation, soils, wildlife, wetlands, or ecology within reclamation work.
• Coordinate field surveys, logistics, and field records.
• Develop and QA/QC geospatial and field datasets using ArcGIS Pro.
• Prepare technical reports, management plans, and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, Indigenous professionals, clients and field teams.
