Job summary

CoVet is seeking a user-focused Product Owner/Product Manager to drive excellence across the product development lifecycle. You will understand users, workflows, pain points and feedback, turning insights into clear priorities and intuitive experiences.

You will work with Engineering, Design, and QA to remove blockers, align priorities, and ship high-impact features with confidence. Remote-first with Canada-wide flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a tech environment.
• Experience launching digital products or features (B2B, SaaS, apps).
• Experience with user research, feedback and translating needs into product decisions.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern PM tools (Jira, Trello, Asana).
• KPIs definition and data-informed decision making.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Growth strategies, A/B tests, APIs, or cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the product roadmap aligned with vision and market trends.
• Define quality checkpoints across delivery stages (readiness, QA, releases).
• Conduct customer discovery, competitive analysis, and market research to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements with engineering.
• Collaborate with UX, marketing, sales, and veterinary support for seamless user experience and adoption.
• Define and track product performance metrics such as engagement, retention, and revenue impact.
• Write user stories, prioritize backlog, plan sprints, and lead demos.
• Present updates and roadmaps to executives, clients, and internal teams.
• Be the voice of the customer, gather feedback to refine features and drive improvement.
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and data privacy laws.
