Job summary

Canopy Growth Corporation in Canada (Ontario) is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support procurement, supplier, and CMO activities across the organization. You will source raw materials, monitor costs, and analyze spend trends while collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure supply requirements are met.

The role is full-time and remote, based out of Ontario, with benefits including extended health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and a retirement savings

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture.
• Experience sourcing raw materials, packaging, ingredients, API components, or manufactured products.
• Experience supporting domestic and international procurement activities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess spend, pricing, lead times, MOQs, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of raw materials and API components; analyze purchasing data and lead times.
• Manage supplier onboarding, performance, and contracting; track spend and supplier commitments.
• Oversee CMO management, production plans, capacity, costs, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate purchase orders, schedules, and material requirements with CMOs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
