Job summary

Budbase is seeking a Procurement Specialist to build and maintain a comprehensive view of Canadian cultivators and available flower for global markets. You will collaborate with local teams to identify products that meet specifications and keep supplier evaluations, commitments, and POs moving with strong organization.

Role involves developing supplier networks in Canada, coordinating samples and documentation with international teams, and ensuring supplier conversations have clear next steps.

Qualifications

• Experience building supplier networks and managing capacity, quality, and pricing.
• Ability to coordinate samples, product specs and documentation across teams.
• Proven record in moving supplier conversations to defined next steps.

Responsibilities

• Develop the supplier network by identifying and engaging Canadian cultivators and new suppliers.
• Coordinate with international teams to bring forward products that meet specs.
• Track supplier conversations, samples, decisions and next steps with clear records.
• Convert approved demand plans into supplier-specific POs and track them.
• Monitor delivery milestones, flag risks and provide information for decisions.
