Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including clinical trials, manufacturing operations, and market research.
• Develop and implement data models, statistical analyses, and reporting tools to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Create clear and concise data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for diverse stakeholders, including R&D, marketing, and executive leadership.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams remotely to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA).
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics, pharmaceutical trends, and relevant technologies.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and project teams through virtual meetings.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application to real-world data.
