About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Data Scientist with a specialization in Bioinformatics to spearhead their data-driven research initiatives. This role will be fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights from large biological datasets, including genomic, proteomic, and clinical data. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of sophisticated machine learning models and statistical analyses for complex biological data.

• Collaborate with domain experts (biologists, clinicians) to define research questions and translate them into data science problems.

Requirements

• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong experience in handling and analyzing large-scale biological data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a remote environment.
