Job summary

Bank of Montreal in Canada is seeking a Retail Banking Sales & Service professional focused on understanding customer needs and delivering credit and lending-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects.

You will advise customers on borrowing strategies, fulfill sales activities, and identify referrals to other business groups across channels, while maintaining compliance and customer confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of personal lending and home financing products.
• Knowledge of contact centre operational processes and policies.
• Fluency in French and English to support clients and teammates inside/outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and provide credit and lending-related sales and service.
• Advise customers on borrowing strategies and products that meet objectives.
• Fulfill sales and service activities in line with procedures and reference referrals to other groups.
