Job summary

Role involves engaging with customers, completing needs assessments, and promoting digital self-serve options while ensuring accurate data entry and compliant lending recommendations.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field is desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Takes a lead in proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects by providing needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments that identify financial solutions and preferred banking channels while recommending tailored solutions addressing both sales and service needs.
• Offers clients guidance on digital and self-serve options to make banking easy and fast.
• Supports customer transactions based on traffic and needs.
• Builds new relationships within the community and grows BMO’s business.
