Job summary

Jonas Software is seeking a Payments Sales Specialist to drive revenue with channel partners across Canada. You will analyze merchant statements, craft persuasive recommendations, and support negotiations to close deals and win back opportunities.

The role is remote, allowing flexible collaboration with partner teams and sales colleagues while maintaining rigorous pipeline visibility in Salesforce and Excel-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in merchant services, payment processing, or a similar financial services role.
• Ability to analyze merchant statements and present customized solutions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for partner interactions.
• Experience using CRM systems and proficiency in Excel for financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct merchant statement analysis and translate findings into insights for partners.
• Craft narratives to help close deals or win back opportunities with partner teams.
• Join partner calls to provide payment expertise and support negotiations.
• Proactively manage pipeline activity and follow-up opportunities with partners.
• Collaborate with partner account managers and sales to align strategy.
