Job summary

Agriculture in the Classroom Canada (AITC-C) seeks a creative Digital Communications Specialist on a self-employed, part-time basis to deliver engaging digital learning experiences and manage content across programs from a remote Canada-wide location.

The role requires design and storytelling skills, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Genially and Canva, plus the ability to collaborate with national and provincial teams; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in communications, graphic design, digital media, or related field.
• Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Genially, Canva, and social media.
• Experience creating content for education, youth, or nonprofit audiences is an asset.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver digital learning experiences and multimedia content across programs.
• Design, produce and edit marketing materials including annual reports and guides.
• Manage social media content planning, publishing and engagement.
• Maintain and update AITC-C websites with fresh content.
• Monitor performance metrics across platforms.
• Support internal teams with communications and design needs.
• Build relationships with partners and members to expand reach.
• Ensure marketing obligations in funder agreements are met.
