Job summary

Moonshot is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our threat monitoring team in a remote role based with activity in Canada. You will perform OSINT investigations, develop risk assessments, and deliver actionable insights for high-profile clients.

The role requires strong OSINT skills, experience with social media analysis, and the ability to work independently across multiple accounts. Applicants must be based in Ontario, Canada, and eligible to work in Canada, with willingness to undergo

Qualifications

• Professional experience conducting OSINT investigations or intelligence analysis, from government, fusion centre, law enforcement, corporate security, GSOC or equivalent background.
• Strong OSINT skills and social media investigation experience; ability to handle large datasets independently.
• Understanding of the intelligence cycle: defining requirements, building collection plans, producing analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily monitoring and OSINT investigations into online harms.
• Lead development of risk assessments and threat classifications with evidence-based judgments.
• Distill large volumes of social media and open source data into clear, actionable analysis.
• Develop reports and briefings tailored to client requirements.
• Escalate high-priority threats and coordinate with platform trust/security, legal teams, and law enforcement as needed.
• Manage a demanding reporting schedule across multiple accounts.
• Contribute to evolving Moonshot's investigative methodology and tools.
