Job summary

Sibylline Canada is seeking an experienced GSOC Intelligence Team Leader to establish and run a 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre for a multinational client. Lead a team of GSOC Intelligence Analysts, drive threat monitoring, incident response, and high-quality intelligence output.

The role requires line management experience, strong leadership, and expertise in security intelligence, OSINT, and SOCMINT tools. Onsite work in Toronto with weekday hours and occasional emergencies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GSOC and intelligence tools, including threat monitoring, OSINT, and SOCMINT platforms.
• At least 5+ years total experience in a corporate/public sector setting, with 2+ years in line management.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Cross-functional experience in a global security team, preferably in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of the new GSOC team and identify delivery needs and training requirements.
• Set team priorities, delegate tasks, manage deadlines, provide feedback, ensure high-quality service.
• Manage 24/7/365 shift schedule and ensure full coverage.
• Monitor and direct the team’s use of security systems, intelligence and open-source tools.
• Oversee GSOC adherence to incident response, triage, and SOPs.
• Provide editorial and mentoring support for the GSOC team.
• Define intelligence priorities with security stakeholders to optimize outputs.
• Build and maintain cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
