Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a Senior Oracle Budgeting and Planning (PBCS) Specialist to join our Toronto team. You will support enterprise planning, forecasting, and close processes with expert Oracle PBCS, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase knowledge.

Responsibilities include configuring systems, developing test scenarios, mentoring teammates, and delivering client-ready technical solutions. Travel is minimal and the role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and/or Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS, including modules (e.g., Workforce Planning, Capex Planning, Project Planning)
• 5 years of hands-on experience with 1+ upgrade projects from Hyperion Planning and Essbase to Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS
• 5 years of expert-level experience in developing Business Rules and Essbase scripts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work in fast-paced environments
• Experience with software full lifecycle methodology
• Ability to work independently and with a diverse team; coach junior staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience interacting with Solution Architects and Project Managers to define solutions
• Ability to advise clients on planning, budgeting, and forecasting best practices

Responsibilities

• Provide SME in Oracle PBCS, Oracle Hyperion Planning, and Oracle Essbase
• Configure systems to meet business process requirements
• Develop testing scenarios, scripts and lead testing activities
• Mentor and coordinate team duties; main client contact
• Facilitate end-user training and train-the-trainer sessions
• Contribute as a technical consultant on projects of moderate complexity
• Identify customer issues and implement preventive solutions
• Interact with external customers and identify opportunities for the client organization
