Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with previous sales experience or a 2-year Associate Degree with RVT credentials.
• Preferred Education: BS in Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Animal Science, or Business Administration. DVM degree is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the veterinary, pharmaceutical, or nutrition industries.
• Credentials: Licensed DVM or RVT with practice, industry, or veterinary teaching experience.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license and residency within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: Achieve sales targets by planning and executing high-value calls based on account classification.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of small animal nutrition, Hill’s product lines, and competitor offerings.
• Clinic Business Development: Build networks with key decision-makers and Health Care Teams; provide professional support.
• Strategic Planning: Develop annual joint business plans for key accounts and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Identify Opportunities: Develop technical and business propositions to meet Hill’s and customer needs.
• Market Execution: Implement activities to ensure full distribution and optimal shelf space.
• Industry Representation: Represent Hill’s at trade shows and local/national meetings.
