Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is recruiting for a Nursing position in remote northern communities across Canada. The role offers $60/hour plus a $22/hour non-taxed Northern Allowance for 2–6 week assignments.

The work involves expanded scope in primary and emergency care, nursing assessments, health teaching, and care planning within clinic settings. Requires RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree, and 3,000 hours of recent acute/critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher.
• Minimum 3,000 hours in acute/critical care in past 3–5 years or 1,500–3,000 hours in remote/Community Health Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency care in a nursing station/Health Center.
• Perform assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan.
• Contribute to health promotion, planning and implementing care using guidelines.
• Ensure emotional, spiritual, physical safety of clients within scope of practice.
