Bayshore HealthCare is seeking nurses for its Northern Staffing Program to work in remote northern communities across BC, AB, MB, ON and Nunavut. The assignment lasts 2–6 weeks, with pay of $60/hour plus a $22/hour non-taxed Northern Allowance, plus paid travel.

You will provide primary and emergency care in nursing stations, deliver patient care from newborns to elders, and work with guidelines and immunizations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required or higher.
• 3,000 hours in acute/critical care nursing in past 3–5 years OR 1,500–3,000 hours in remote/isolated communities in past 3–5 years.

• Provide primary and emergency nursing care in clinics within nursing stations.
• Perform observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching.
• Promote health, plan and implement care using guidelines; travel nursing.
• Ensure emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety within scope of practice.
