Job summary

Manulife Bank is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to sell lending solutions directly to clients referred by advisors or brokers. You will deliver tailored mortgage advice and manage complex funding requests.

Role requires 2+ years in banking/mortgage brokerage, strong underwriting knowledge, and fluency in English and French to support clients outside Quebec. Remote work options available, with CRM and sales pipeline responsibilities.

Qualifications

• College or University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the banking and mortgage brokerage industry.
• Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting.
• Experience conducting virtual meetings and presentations.
• Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Selling Manulife One, Manulife Bank Select and related lending solutions directly to clients referred via financial advisors or mortgage brokers.
• Ensure seamless receipt and packaging of mortgage documents for timely processing.
• Manage a sales pipeline with a high closing rate.
• Follow up on leads provided by the lead management team.
• Build a portfolio of consumer clients through referrals for direct lending solutions.
• Identify and execute client direct sales strategies including webinars and trade shows.
• Update CRM (Salesforce) with client interactions to manage the sales pipeline.
• Provide product feedback to identify improvements and new opportunities.
