Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Machine Learning Intern to design, train and improve cutting-edge models while exploring new techniques for safer, faster deployment. You will work closely with product teams and senior ML staff on large-scale datasets and ongoing research projects.

This internship is a 3–6 month term, remote-friendly with offices in multiple cities, and includes a $500 home office stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and eligible for a 3–6 month internship or co-op.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with large-scale distributed training and NLP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and improve cutting-edge models.
• Develop techniques to train and serve models safely, efficiently, and at scale.
• Work with senior ML staff and product teams on real-world datasets.
