Job summary

North American Construction Group (NACG) is hiring Articulating Truck Operators for a remote mining site near Fort McMurray. You will operate 40T/60T articulated trucks, perform pre-use checks, and ensure safety standards on a 12-hour shift schedule with 14x7 or 10x4 rotations.

Qualifications include a minimum 3 years in articulating haul trucks, mine-area driving experience, and English proficiency. Union membership with IUOE Local 955 is required, with benefits including weekly pay and

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Articulating Haul Truck Operator on civil projects.
• Experience driving in mine areas and congested zones.
• Safety-first attitude and strong listening skills.
• English proficiency in written and spoken form.
• CSO Certification and related awareness certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 40T and 60T Articulated Trucks in mining or heavy construction earthworks.
• Complete pre-use equipment inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct field level risk/hazard assessments before tasks and as tasks change.
• Participate in safe fueling and servicing of equipment.
• Interact with loading and dumping equipment and follow mine rules.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and utilize all required PPE and safety equipment.
• Report required repairs to maintenance or supervision and log incidents.
