Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Mental Health Specialist for night shifts to monitor and triage overnight queue within the Dialogue platform. You will handle low-acuity requests through acute crises, coordinating care pathways and safety planning.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/French), hold a bachelor's in a mental health field, and have 2+ years of intervention experience. This is a 100% remote role with healthcare benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in a mental health or human relations field.
• 2+ years of intervention experience as a social worker or similar role with mental health concerns.
• Availability for overnight shifts (minimum 21 hours/week) including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Queue Monitoring & Triage: assess overnight cases to prioritize care by urgency and risk.
• Crisis & Suicide Risk Assessment: conduct real-time risk assessments and safety planning.
• Triage Calls & Care Routing: perform initial intake and guide to internal or external pathways.
• Emergency Escalation: coordinate with external emergency services when safety is at risk.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: work with overnight medical, nursing, and primary care teams.
• Clinical Documentation: maintain clear, precise documentation for interactions and assessments.
• Protocol Refinement: contribute to overnight triage workflow and crisis response improvements.
