Job summary

CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures seeks an Assistant Lodge Manager for a remote lodge near Valemount, BC. You will support the Lodge Manager, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role includes administration, problem-solving, and acting as Lodge Manager when needed.

Schedule is two weeks on and one week off. Accommodation is provided during shifts at no extra cost. Prior hospitality leadership and safety certifications are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in hospitality, travel and tourism or equivalent work experience.
• Food Safe Certificate.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 or equivalent.
• BC Serving-it-Right.
• Leadership experience in hospitality (2+ years) preferred.
• Experience in entry-management and POS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to achieve lodge goals across hospitality and F&B programs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and area teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide direction and coaching to develop staff alongside the Lodge Manager.
• Act as main host for guests and manage guest satisfaction.
• Track lodge inventory and manage staff schedules and time-entry.
• Support health and safety requirements and CMH policies.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and high‑quality guest experience.
