Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services is hiring a 2nd Cook for a remote lodge near Thunder Bay, Ontario. You will coordinate and be responsible for breakfast service following Chef-approved methods and production guidelines.

You will handle knives safely, work with grills, fryers, ovens, and broilers, and ensure food safety and sanitation while delivering timely service. Prior cooking experience and willingness to obtain required food safety certification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen safety.
• Must obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare meals according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, chop, and prep ingredients.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Operate ovens, stoves, and other equipment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
