The role demands a PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with heat transfer specialization, 10+ years in electronics thermal management, and strong CFD/experimental testing skills.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in thermodynamics or thermal sciences.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal management for electronics/high-performance computing.
• Expert proficiency in CFD simulation software for thermal analysis.
• Deep understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and material properties for thermal solutions.
• Experience with thermal testing methodologies and equipment.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and drive innovation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills for remote work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal design and analysis of advanced electronic systems for effective heat dissipation and reliability.
• Develop and implement innovative thermal management solutions including heat sinks, fans, heat pipes, and liquid cooling.
• Perform detailed thermal simulations using CFD tools to predict performance and optimize designs.
• Create comprehensive design documentation for remote team access and review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment to integrate thermal solutions.
• Oversee thermal validation testing, analyze results, and recommend design improvements.
• Stay abreast of emerging thermal management technologies and best practices.
