Neon One, a leader in nonprofit software, seeks a Lead Instructional Designer to drive our instructional design strategy and serve as the primary engine for advancing complex learning initiatives. You will partner with the Technical Writing function to ensure alignment between product documentation and learning pathways, and you will lead the transition to a custom LMS with external developers.

Qualifications

5+ years in instructional design within a B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or high-growth tech environment.
Experience defining LMS requirements, migrations, or custom builds (SCORM/xAPI/LTI).
Ability to navigate API documentation, cloud architectures, and developer workflows.
Expertise with modern authoring & media tools: Articulate 360, Camtasia, Loom, Figma.

Responsabilités

Lead cross-functional learning initiatives and align with stakeholders across departments.
Own the migration from Skilljar to a custom LMS and define system requirements for learner UX.
Collaborate with Technical Writer, Enablement Manager, and Customer Operations to design scalable systems.
Architect end-to-end learning paths, certification schemes, and self-paced academies.
Design hands-on lab experiences, sandbox environments, and API walkthrough tutorials.
Align product updates with instructional content and measure ROI via telemetry.
