Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services in partnership with Moose Cree group of companies are hiring for Lead 1st Cooks for a remote lodge near Timmins, ON. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage daily production, and ensure adherence to recipes and safety standards.

The role requires previous supervisory experience, solid cooking skills, and a valid food safety certification. You will work in a remote lodge setting with rotations and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising kitchen staff in a high-volume setting.
• Proven knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to train staff and ensure sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise daily kitchen activities.
• Train staff on recipes, safety, and cooking methods.
• Cook and prepare food following guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, cutting, and trimming.
• Operate ovens, stoves, and other equipment.
• Cook with various methods and portions.
• Maintain food safety and proper storage.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Follow safety policies and protect company assets.
