Job summary

Confidencial is seeking an IT Audit Project Coordinator / Emerging Technical Project Manager to support enterprise governance initiatives for a public sector client in Alberta. You will track remediation workstreams, coordinate with IT leaders and auditors, and ensure timely delivery and governance adherence.

The role requires 1–3+ years in IT project coordination, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of IT project coordination or PMO support.
• Foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, cyber controls, and enterprise software concepts.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and oral communication with stakeholder diplomacy.
• Post-secondary degree in CS/IT/Business Admin or equivalent experience.
• Certifications (CAPM, PMP in progress, CSM) or IT/security frameworks (TOGAF, CISSP, Azure) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Track audit actions, remediation tasks, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate workstreams with IT leaders, cybersecurity teams and auditors.
• Facilitate meetings, capture minutes, decisions and follow-ups.
• Monitor schedules with MS Project and PMO tools to flag risks.
• Create weekly status reports and dashboards on progress and deadlines.
• Provide ad-hoc PMO support across related technical initiatives.
