Job summary

Denison Mines Corp. is seeking a Wellfield Supervisor - Operations to support ISR mining drilling at the Wheeler River Project. The role reports to the Wellfield Manager and focuses on coordinating personnel, equipment, and procedures for safe, efficient drilling operations.

The position requires leading on-site crews, enforcing HSE standards, and resolving issues quickly. It involves travel to a designated pick-up point near Saskatoon with Denison providing board and lodging during rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in drilling/completions operations (land or offshore).
• Experience as Wellsite Supervisor, Company Man, or drilling/service rig background preferred.
• Familiarity with multiple drilling methods (diamond core, mud rotary, service rigs).
• Strong understanding of rig equipment and drilling fluids.
• Able to work in remote locations on rotating schedules.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience with Pason/EDR or similar electronic drilling recorder.
• Experience in uranium/mining/O&G environments is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• First Aid Certification valid or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate drilling operations aligning with safety and efficiency targets.
• Liaise with rig crew, operators, and third-party providers for smooth execution.
• Monitor wellbore progress, rig performance, and contractor deliverables.
• Oversee permeability enhancement and stimulation tools for production wells.
• Provide leadership on site and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Maintain drilling records and ensure HSE compliance and company policies.
• Recommend process improvements and technical solutions as needed.
• Lead and manage crews, providing guidance, training, and development.
• Ensure regular maintenance and inspections of drilling equipment.
