Salary - $60-70k + uncapped commission and bonus structure.

Summary :

The role is for a confident and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and be responsible for finding and screening potential customers who would benefit from Our Clients suite of products. The role will ensure new opportunities are identified, qualified, and managed through our sales pipeline by setting demonstration bookings, following up on leads, and tracking progress against sales targets.

Marketing is really hard for businesses as they lack time, money, and expertise. But most of all, they're not sure if the marketing they do leads to sales. Our goal is to be the number one trusted growth engine for our retailers, partners, and people.

Role Description :

The role of the SDR is responsible for first contact with all our inbound leads, as well as prospecting, and identifying new sales opportunities for our team of account executives.

As the SDR you'll be responsible for managing inbound sales chat conversations with prospects signing up, identifying new potential customers, ensuring our account executives pipeline remains full with client demonstration opportunities, plus ensuring you manage all our leads through the sales pipeline.

As an SDR you'll be familiar with sales tactics such as cold calling, email prospecting, and social selling to ensure you're identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities for our account executives to close. You will work closely with our Account Executives and the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure sales goals are met.

Overview of Key Responsibilities :

Prospecting and Screening - you'll be responsible for prospecting and screening all our leads which are generated from organic sources, our integration partners, referrals, and trial sign-ups. You'll also be responsible for generating and prospecting new opportunities for the sales team, to ensure our sales pipelines are full and growing. This may include cold calling, email prospecting, and social selling. You'll have full CRM access to thousands of leads, which require contact and qualification.

Sales Chat Management - you'll be responsible for managing inbound chat queries initiated by users who don't require a full sales pitch, but would rather self-onboard. Your role is to ensure their questions are answered during their trial period.

Lead Scheduling and Communication - you'll ensure leads are progressing down our sales funnel with constant communication back to prospects, with the ultimate goal of booking demonstrations for our Account Executives to close more deals. You'll possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

CRM Management - you'll be a first point of contact for many of our leads and prospects, so you'll have experience with CRM solutions, such as Hubspot, and understand the importance of keeping contact and company records up to date for our sales team.

Qualifications :

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management,
  • Sales, or a related field of study or;
  • Any other Professional Customer Sales, Service qualifications would be highly beneficial.

Experience :

  • Sales experience, preferably in a similar position.
  • Experience with cold calling, prospecting, email or social selling.
  • A proven ability to book meetings and appointments for a sales team, which results in new
  • business.
  • Proficiency in the use of customer management tools ideally Hubspot would be an advantage but not essential.
  • High level of technology appreciation ideally within the Marketing Automation / Cloud / SaaS arena.
  • Interest and intrigue of digital and / or marketing tools.

The Person :

  • Confident with the ability to build quick relationships over multiple sales communication channels.
  • Given the nature of the role, resilience when told "no' is extremely important.
  • Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience working in a small business environment where you need to roll your sleeves up to
  • get stuff done is ideal.
  • You need a positive and winning attitude. You need to think big, be humble and confident and bea great team player. Our focus is on seeing the whole business succeed.
