Alberta Health Services in Alberta seeks an Analyst for Cancer Surgery Alberta within Cancer Advanced Analytics. You will contribute to synoptic surgical reports (SmartForms) and related clinical information systems across the province.

Working with surgeons, operational leaders, analysts and IT partners, you will support data quality, reporting requirements, performance measurement, and quality improvement initiatives to improve surgical care and outcomes for Albertans.

Formación

• Completion of post-secondary education in a related health information field.
• 1–3 years of healthcare environment experience with healthcare information systems.
• Ability to navigate databases and reporting tools to validate and analyze information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support implementation, maintenance, and optimization of synoptic surgical reports (SmartForms).
• Collaborate with surgeons and IT teams to improve reporting processes.
• Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data from reporting tools.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and operational decision-making.
