Job summary

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is seeking a senior Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and Shopify solutions. You will work across the org with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Marketing to translate requirements into robust software.

Responsibilities include leading project lifecycles, improving performance, and evaluating third-party tools versus custom development in an Agile setting. A strong Shopify and backend skillset is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 3+ years in enterprise Shopify development.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience integrating Shopify with Dynamics 365 and other systems.
Ability to lead projects and work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications and Shopify solutions.
Lead project lifecycles from concept to deployment and mentor junior teammates.
Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, Marketing, and stakeholders to advance tech roadmap.
Ensure system resilience, observability, and performance for customer-facing apps.
Participate in SDLC, Agile ceremonies, and evaluate build vs buy options.
