About the Role

This position is essential for mitigating risks, maintaining operational integrity, and upholding the company's reputation. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and advising on best practices for fleet safety and regulatory adherence, all from a remote location. This is a critical role for anyone with a strong understanding of transportation law and a commitment to safety and regulatory excellence within a distributed operational structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure adherence to all national and provincial transportation regulations, including driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and roadworthiness.
• Conduct remote audits of driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other compliance-related documentation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance fleet safety and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate any compliance breaches or incidents, recommending corrective actions and ensuring follow-through.
• Stay updated on changes in transportation laws and regulations, advising the company on necessary adjustments.

Requirements
