You will focus on polishing articles for reading flow, ensuring factual accuracy in Canadian investing topics, and coordinating with the managing editor to maintain high editorial standards.

Qualifications

• Prior editor experience, preferably with online editorial content.
• Expertise in grammar, writing style and financial fact-checking.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in editing.
• Excellent written communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support fool.ca content and ensure clarity, flow and accuracy.
• Content-edit articles for readability and factual correctness.
• Copy edit for grammar and spelling across publications.
• Publish articles in WordPress with required metadata (images, stock tickers, disclosures).
• Collaborate with the managing editor to understand investing concepts and compliance concerns.
• Provide feedback to writers and editors to improve quality.
