Job summary

BinSentry is seeking a conscientious Part-time Field Technician to install and service our devices across multiple regions in Ontario. You will travel to farm locations, perform on-site installations, and ensure devices operate reliably in real-world conditions.

Role requires safety awareness, ability to climb bins up to 40 ft, and strong communication with customers. You will work from home/home-base and travel to farms, with a focus on biosecurity and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive long hours to farm sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive to rural farm locations to install and service devices (1–50 per day).
• Disinfect tires and boots, access and install sensors and small solar panels inside bins.
• Troubleshoot basic field device issues and follow biosecurity rules.
• Maintain mileage logs and time sheets.
