Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking evaluators to train AI models through live conversations, rating naturalness and clarity. This remote, flexible freelance role requires careful attention to detail and strong written communication in English.

You will assess AI-generated media and provide concise feedback to improve model performance. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or higher and can work asynchronously.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when needed.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models in English and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distortion, motion, or audio-video mismatch and note findings.
• Provide written explanations in English outlining what was observed and why a given rating was assigned.
