Job summary

Tangent Design Engineering in Calgary is seeking a Project Manager to bring structure, visibility, and calm momentum to multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will keep clients informed, teams aligned, and projects moving in the right direction.

You do not need to be the technical expert in the room; our engineers and Technical Project Managers handle the technical work. You will understand the full project picture, flag risks early, and help move opportunities forward through the sales

Qualifications

• Project management experience on engineering, manufacturing, product development, or technical projects.
• Client communication about project realities, timelines, changes and risks.
• Cross-functional coordination with technical teams, operations, finance, leadership and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects aligned with proposals and delivery expectations.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, status updates, documentation and tracking for visibility.
• Serve as the primary client contact for status, schedule, scope updates and budget.
• Partner with engineers, PMs, client relationship managers and leaders to keep work moving.
• Identify early signs of scope, schedule or budget risks and communicate them early.
