Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking a Data Science tutor to connect with students nationwide. You will teach advanced statistics, ML, data wrangling, and visualization using Python or R, all from home on our Live Learning Platform.

Earn up to $40/hour, with pay twice per week and no commuting. Set your own schedule and deliver impactful lessons, assisted by AI Copilot features to save prep time and improve engagement.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of statistical analysis, data wrangling, EDA, machine learning, data visualization and SQL/Python or R.
• Ability to explain probability distributions, regression, A/B testing and data pipelines.
• Experience guiding students through data cleaning with Pandas and building predictive models.

Responsibilities

• Teach the complete data science workflow from question to insight communication.
• Guide students through data cleaning with Pandas and exploratory analysis with visualization libraries.
• Help students build predictive models and perform statistical tests.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and communicate findings clearly.
