Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking data science tutors to join our online platform. Tutor remotely, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates per session. You’ll teach students one-on-one, guiding them through statistical analysis, ML workflows, and data storytelling from home.

Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of statistics, Python or R, SQL, and data visualization, with strong communication and adaptive teaching skills to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of statistical analysis, data wrangling, EDA, ML, data visualization.
• Ability to explain probability, regression, A/B testing, data pipelines.
• Experience explaining data science concepts to non-technical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions in data science.
• Explain data science concepts clearly and adapt to student learning styles.
• Prepare sessions using Jupyter notebooks and relevant datasets.
