Job summary

Varsity Tutors in Canada is seeking qualified Data Science tutors to join our live online platform. You’ll work from home, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates by tutoring students on a flexible basis.

Our platform offers the AI Tutor Copilot, and payments up to $40 per hour. You’ll guide learners through statistics, data wrangling, ML, Python or R, and communicate insights effectively.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of statistical analysis, data wrangling, and ML concepts.
• Ability to explain probability distributions, regression, A/B testing and data pipelines.
• Experience teaching data science workflows end-to-end using real datasets.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to students.
• Explain concepts with multiple teaching approaches and adapt to learning styles.
• Help students through data cleaning, exploration, modeling, and presentation of insights.
