The ideal candidate has 3+ years of corporate experience, a law degree from a recognized school, strong drafting and research skills, and a client‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• LLB/J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
• 3+ years of corporate commercial experience.
• Strong research and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage a significant practice and interact with clients.
• Excellent attention to detail and professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of corporate commercial matters with increasing autonomy.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal advice.
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements.
• Assist with corporate reorganizations, transactions and related matters.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare transaction documentation.
• Manage delegated files from senior lawyers and communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with lawyers and staff across Vancouver, Langley and West Vancouver.
• Maintain file management, billing and time-entry practices.
