Job summary

Centerra Gold, Mount Milligan Mine, Fort St. James, BC, seeks a Superintendent, Contracts to lead the contract management function. Role is primarily work-from-home with regular travel to site, supporting mining, processing, maintenance, and capital projects.

Lead the contracts team, drive value creation, governance, and supplier performance while partnering with operations to develop sourcing strategies in a safe, cost-effective mining operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing contract or procurement professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting strategies aligned with site objectives.
• Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle including planning, bid events, evaluation, negotiation, award, and closeout.
• Ensure contracts deliver value while managing risks (operational, legal, financial).
• Establish contract models and governance to support site needs.
