Job summary

The Brick is seeking a Delivery Driver in Hamilton, Ontario. You will load and unload a 5-ton truck, deliver furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, set up some items, and remove packaging while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Applicants should have a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and experience driving a 5-ton truck, with strong interpersonal and safety-conscious skills. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck


• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes


• Set up and assembly of some items


• Removal of packaging materials


• Returning approved merchandise


• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service


• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures


• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. • Performing various other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)


• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers


• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
