Job summary

The Brick is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver in Hamilton, Ontario. You will load and unload, safely deliver furniture, and set up items for customers, ensuring integrity of merchandise and a positive home delivery experience.

You will need a clean driving record and a valid license, with experience driving a 5-ton truck. Benefits include health after 3 months, employee discounts, and growth opportunities within a stable Canadian company.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
