Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our fully remote team, supporting major nationwide projects, including developments in Kimberley. You will develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, optimize resource allocation, and shape logistics strategies to keep complex projects on track.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 7+ years in planning, and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update construction project schedules using project management software.
• Analyze project scope and sequence activities to optimize timelines and identify critical paths.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for input.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate schedule disruptions.
• Plan and manage logistics, including material delivery schedules and site access.
• Prepare regular progress reports and forecast completion dates for project stakeholders.
