Varsity Tutors is seeking Competition Math tutors for our live online platform. You'll tutor 1-on-1 from home, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates while making a real impact on students' learning.

We look for advanced mastery in number theory, combinatorics, and contest math, with the ability to explain problem-solving heuristics, adapt to AMC/MATHCOUNTS/AIME syllabi, and communicate clearly and engagingly.

Qualifications

• Advanced mastery in competition math, able to explain heuristics and proofs.
• Deep knowledge of AMC 8/10/12, MATHCOUNTS, and AIME topics.
• Ability to adapt lessons to student needs and syllabi.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for competition math.
• Explain problem-solving heuristics and solution strategies.
• Adapt instruction to AMC/MATHCOUNTS/AIME syllabi and student level.
• Maintain engaging, clear communication with students.
