Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company, seeks competition math tutors to deliver high-quality online instruction. You’ll work 1-on-1 with students, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates from the comfort of your home.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of competition math topics including AMC 8/10/12, MATHCOUNTS and AIME.
• Ability to explain problem-solving heuristics and proof strategies clearly.
• Experience tutoring competition math at advanced levels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions.
• Provide on-demand tutoring when available.
• Help students develop time management and strategy for contests.
• Explain problem-solving approaches and multiple solution paths.
