Job summary

OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) is seeking an experienced insurance professional to attract new business, service an assigned client book, and manage renewals and claims. This role emphasizes cross-selling, accurate documentation, and compliance with insurance regulations.

The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, travel may be required, and the company offers opportunities for growth, education support, and a defined benefits pension plan.

Qualifications

• AIC license required.
• Minimum 3 years in commercial property & casualty, commercial auto and farm insurance.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to handle competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build a sales pipeline and contact clients; respond to inquiries and cross-sell.
• Provide full service to a book of clients: renewals, policy changes, and claims assistance.
• Process policy documents accurately; ensure timely renewal documents and invoices.
• Coordinate policy changes with insurers and monitor renewals and coverage gaps.
• Create a trusting environment to foster new sales and retain clients.
• Adhere to procedures and insurance regulations and company policies.
• Stay informed on market trends and regulatory changes to advise clients.
• Serve as main post-sale contact for claim processes and policy changes.
• Perform other duties within competence as assigned.
