Job summary

From Day One is seeking a Client Success Manager to own sponsor relationships from sign‑on through renewal and ensure a real return on partnership. You’ll be the primary contact for a roster of sponsoring companies, delivering high‑touch service by email, phone, and face‑to‑face encounters, translating client needs into measurable value on site.

This is a remote role with regular travel to other cities for events; based near Toronto or willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• 3+ years of full-time, post-graduation experience.
• Experience in customer success, events, conferences, hospitality or sales is preferred.
• Experience owning budgets, vendor quotes or contracts is desirable.
• Strong quantitative background and ability to manage complex logistics.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for sponsors, addressing questions and concerns.
• Onboard clients, understand objectives, and ensure they gain value from the partnership.
• Deliver a high-quality client experience through post-sales and renewal processes.
• Manage client deliverables and information flow timely and accurately.
• Conduct post-event feedback to identify improvements and upsell/renewal opportunities.
• Prepare reports for internal and external communication.
• Own renewal rate and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Maintain vendor relationships with venues, caterers, AV/production, and hotels.
• Coordinate travel and shipping for team, speakers, and materials.
• Resolve on-site vendor issues during events.
