Job summary

Red Nucleus is hiring a Client Engagement Manager to join our global Medical Communications team. This home-based role supports US or Canada clients, with hybrid options if you can commute to Toronto, San Francisco, Boston, or Yardley, PA.

The role anchors client relationships, leads medical publications programs, coordinates with Creative, Editorial, Digital, and Project teams, and ensures work is delivered on time, on scope, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in medical communications or related fields.
• Strong client communication and relationship management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (PhRMA, Open Payments)

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact for assigned accounts and projects.
• Lead execution of medical communications programs from initiation to completion.
• Lead regular client status meetings, agendas, updates, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Creative, Editorial, Digital, Project teams for day-to-day execution.
• Review deliverables for alignment with objectives and regulatory guidance.
• Manage project and account financials including budget tracking and invoicing.
• Develop change orders and support proposal/SOW development as needed.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance requirements and industry regulations.
• Support MLR review processes and document submission systems (e.g., Veeva).
• Participate in onsite meetings, advisory boards, congress activities and speaker programs.
• Coach and support junior team members; identify opportunities for growth.
• Contribute to organic growth and support business development efforts.
