Birch Mountain Enterprises is hiring experienced Class 3 Operators to work at the Imperial Oil site (Kearl). The role requires TDG knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of manual transmission experience with prior Combo Vac exposure.

Preference given to those with industrial sector experience and a valid Class 3 license with a clean record. The position offers 14 days on, 14 off, day and night shifts, camp and flights to Edmonton or Calgary, and a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, including up to 18 speed manual class 1 or 3 equipment.
• Previous or related experience operating Combo Vac units.
• Mine drive experience is an asset.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds, WHMIS, and H2S Alive.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, Drug and Alcohol and fit for duty pre-employment screening.

Responsabilidades

• Completion of daily documentation, including daily logbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessment, and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of the assigned truck to maintain company image.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to required standards and procedures.
• Ensure training is kept current and TDG/WHMIS standards are followed.
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in all activities.

Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in the industrial sector.
