Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is seeking safety-conscious Class 1 drivers to support fuel truck operations at the Fort McKay Incubator park. A clean abstract and experience with fuel trucks in oilfield settings are required.

TDG knowledge, ability to operate up to 18-speed manual Class 1 equipment, and a willingness to perform related duties are essential. The position offers shift schedules (14 on/7 off or 7 on/7 off), day/night rotations, overtime after 8 hours/day and 44 hours/week, a monthly

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class 1 operator’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• TDG knowledge and ability to handle hazardous materials.
• Clear verbal and written communication with clients.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Previous fuel truck experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tri-drive or oversee the operation of fuel trucks.
• Willing to perform other tasks such as water, sewer, and vac work.
• Complete daily logs and inspections.
• Follow site dispatch or supervisor instructions.
• Maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and safety.
• Attend daily safety meetings and adhere to TDG/WHMIS rules.
• Provide customer-focused services.

Birch Mountain Enterprises is looking to hire experienced Class 1 operators for our Fort McKay Incubator park location to support Fuel Truck Operation on our client site. Must be TDG knowledgeable, witha minimum of 3 years of manual transmission experience and previous Fluid hauling experience. (No camp or Flights provided)

Job Summary:

Operating from our Fort McKay Incubator park location. We are seeking safety-conscious Class 1 driver. Must have a clean driver’s abstract. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have previous experience operating Fuel trucks in the oilfield environment, tri-drive, and Super B experience, as well as the qualities listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Tri-drive or oversee the operation of Super B Fuel trucks in an efficient manner.
• Must also be willing to do other types work (Water, sewer, combo vac, Semi Vac etc.)
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to paper or electronic logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by site Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of truck and office trailer to ensure maintenance of company image.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures.
• Ensure that all training is kept current.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in all activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Class 1 operator’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and able to confidently interact with clients daily.
• Mine driving experience is an asset.
• Previous experience on fuel trucks (including operation of up to 18 speed manual class 1 equipment) would be preferred.
• CSTS and OSSA certification (or BSO)
• Active Certifications in Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Weights and Dimensions, Hours of Service and Daily Trip Inspections.
• CPPI Certification would be an asset.
• Must successfully pass BME pre-employment conditions, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
